About Me

Thanks for visiting my website! I have been working in Yosemite National Park since I was twenty years old, first as a hotel maid, later as a Climbing Ranger, and now as a member of the Tuolumne Search and Rescue Team. 

When I'm not working in Yosemite I hold a full-time, unpaid internship as a construction worker on my boyfriend's house, which we're building to replace our old house that burned down in a random electrical fire in 2022.  

I enjoy writing about travel, love and relationships, nature and the environment, and doom of all varieties (climate, existential, economic, millennial, impending, etc.)! I'm currently working on a memoir that touches on all of these types of doom, but it's not depressing. It's doom, but make it fun!
