I am a non-fiction writer from Bishop, California. My essays and articles have appeared in The New York Times, HuffPost, Business Insider, and elsewhere. 

I am a former Park Ranger currently at work on a memoir about how I succumbed to millennial doom after my house burned down, my friends kept dying in climbing accidents, and the president broke my career path--and how I eventually climbed my way back to hope. 

I spend my summers in Yosemite National Park, where I work on the Search and Rescue team and have to ride my bike for 0.6 miles up a large hill in order to access the internet.
